Do this when you get home
- Put it by a cool, bright window, not next to a heater
- Water along the rim, or set the pot in a basin for 15 minutes. Don't pour water on the tuber in the middle.
Day to day
- Twist spent flowers and yellow leaves off at the base. Don't leave a stub with scissors (it rots).
- Keep the soil slightly moist. Soft leaves mean it's time to water.

Common questions
The whole plant suddenly flopped?
Usually it's thirsty. Soak the pot from the bottom right away. It stands back up within a few hours. If the soil is wet and it still flops, the tuber may have rotted.
In summer all the leaves turned yellow?
Cyclamen rests in summer. Stop watering, put it somewhere cool, and it sprouts again in fall.
