About PetalPal

PetalPal is a plant and flower care reference, maintained by the PetalPal project. It covers cut flowers, potted plants and indoor foliage, with separate flower-meaning and gifting suggestions.

Where the content comes from

The base entries share a dataset with the PetalPal app. Individually revised guides link to sources such as university extension services, botanical gardens and horticultural societies. Entries without a reference list have not necessarily received a separate source check.

Dates and limits

An updated date marks an actual content revision, not an original publication date. Care needs vary with the cultivar, plant condition, potting mix, climate and indoor environment. Flower meanings and stem-count symbolism are cultural references, not botanical findings.

Corrections

To report an error or a broken link, send the page URL, the issue and a source we can check.

Care tips are general guidance. Adjust for the light, temperature and condition of your own plant.
