Do this when you get home
- Trim the stems and stand them in a little clean water
- To dry them: hang them upside down somewhere cool and airy. They're dry in a week or two, and the color barely fades.
Day to day
- If they're in water, change it every 3-5 days
- Feeling papery and crisp is normal. That's the calyx.
Common questions
The dried flowers crumble when you touch them?
Handle them gently. A light mist of hairspray from a distance helps set them.
