Meaning

A gift, a memory. Often used as bouquet foliage.

Foliage with its own clean scent. Easy to keep, and it air-dries well.

Toxic to cats and dogs. Eating it causes vomiting and diarrhea. Keep it where pets can't reach.

Change the water every 3 days

Preservative

Not needed

Do this when you get home

  1. Cut the stems on a slant, 2-3 cm. Woody stems can take a cross cut so they drink better.
  2. Strip any leaves that would sit in the water

Day to day

  • Change the water about every 3 days
  • The leaves dry slowly, but the shape and color barely change. You can leave them out as a dried arrangement.

Common questions

The leaves are limp and drooping?

Recut the stems and soak the whole stem in deep water for a few hours. They usually perk up.
