Do this when you get home
- To keep them fuzzy: display them dry, with no water
- To watch them leaf out: stand them in shallow water. In a week or two you'll get tender leaves, sometimes even roots.
Day to day
- If they're in water, change it once a week
- Colored pussy willow is usually dyed, and water makes the dye run. Keep dyed stems dry.
Common questions
The fuzzy catkins burst open and turned yellow?
In water, warmth makes them "bloom." To keep the look, display them dry or somewhere cool.
