Meaning

A true love, warmth

A flower head like velvet. Bright, and it lasts.

Safe for cats and dogs. Any plant can still upset a pet’s stomach if they eat a lot, so keep it out of reach.

Light

Somewhere bright

Water

Change the water every 3 days

Temperature

15-30°C

Preservative

Not needed

Do this when you get home

  1. Cut the stem on a slant and strip most of the leaves (celosia leaves wilt first)
  2. Stand it in clean water

Day to day

  • Change the water about every 3 days
  • Hung upside down to dry, it makes a handsome dried flower, and the color holds a long time

Common questions

The leaves wilted but the flower is fine?

Celosia leaves age before the flower head. Just pull them off.
