SeasonYear-round
FoliageA perennial

Meaning

Money rolling in, a full circle

Water or soil, both work. The more sun, the happier it looks.

Light

Plenty of light, or indirect light

Water

In water, change it weekly. In soil, keep it moist.

Temperature

15-30°C. In winter, not below 5°C.

Feed

A few drops of plant food a month

Do this when you get home

  1. In water: a bright windowsill, with the water covering the roots
  2. In soil: keep the pot moist all the time

Day to day

  • In water, change it once a week. In summer, every 3-4 days.
  • Without enough light, the leaf stalks grow thin, long, and floppy
  • If it gets crowded, split it into a few pots

Common questions

The leaves are yellow?

The water went bad, or there isn't enough light. Use clean water and move it somewhere brighter.

The leaf stalks are very long and flopping?

Not enough light. Give it more sun. Cut off the long ones and it grows again.
