Do this when you get home
- If it's in water, use a clean glass or ceramic container. Skip metal.
- The water only needs to cover the roots by 3-5 cm. Don't submerge it deep.
Day to day
- Change the water once a week. In summer, every 3-4 days. Tap water that's sat out a day is best.
- When you change the water, rinse the roots and the base of the stems, and wash off the slime
- Just cut off yellow leaves
Common questions
The base of the stem turned yellow and soft?
The water went bad and the stem rotted. Cut off the rotten part, rinse it, and use fresh water. Change it more often.
The leaf tips are yellow?
Direct sun, chlorine in the water, or too much plant food. Switch to water that's sat out, and move it into indirect light.
