Do this when you get home
- Put them on the sunniest windowsill, in a very gritty, airy mix
- When you first bring them home, don't water
Day to day
- In winter and spring they "split." A new pair grows out of the middle. Don't water while they're splitting.
- In summer heat they rest. Stop watering, give them shade, and give them air.
- Fall is the growing season. A little water is fine.
Common questions
The living stone wrinkled?
Wrinkling while it splits or rests is normal. Don't rush to water.
It went soft and watery?
Too much water, and it rotted. There's usually no saving it.
